Jeddah: Prince Abdulaziz Turki Al Faisal, champion of "Red Bull", singed yesterday in Jeddah, a sponsorship agreement with Saudi Arabian Petroleum Supply Company (APSCO) to provide logistical support to his car model Porsche GT3, which he will be driving in the championship's new season 2010/2011.
The agreement was signed, at the company's premises in Jeddah, by Prince Abdulaziz Turki Al Faisal, and by Mr. Khalid al-Tayeb, Director Lubes and Specialties at APSCO in the presence of a number of senior officials of the company who expressed their happiness for providing logistical support to Prince Abdulaziz to contribute to his accomplishments in motorsport activities in Saudi Arabia, where APSCO will provide the famous Mobil 1 oil especially produced for racing cars.
On this occasion, Khalid al-Tayeb expressed his best wishes for Prince Abdulaziz to win the championship once again, and added: "There is no doubt that the Prince's talent was evident in the first championship of last season, has impressed many with his performance and we were delighted for him winning the title of last the season. As a national company, we are ready to offer our full support to our champions to assist them achieving high scores in the international arenas."
Meanwhile, Prince Abdulaziz Turki Al Faisal thanked APSCO for their support, which will motivate him to do his best to win the championship once again, and said:" I have completed my preparations for the championship and now am ready to compete once the championship kicks off."
Prince Abdul Aziz Turki Al Faisal, the champion of Porsche GT3 of last season, will defend his title aboard his new Red Bull Porsche 911 GT3 that has been prepared and fully equipped in Germany in preparation for the championship, which will be taking place on November 13 – 14 at Yas Marina circuit in Abu Dhabi.The 2nd round will be held in Manama at Bahrain International Circuit on December 2-3, while the 3rd round will take place in Riyadh on Reem International Circuit on 19-20 January, 2011, and back to Manama for the 4th round on 18-19 February, 2011 , and finally back to Abu Dhabi for the final round on 8-9 April, 2011.
