Jeddah: At the beginning of the week, national campaign for traffic safety launched kingdom wide, this campaign represents the actual launch of traffic safety program "Salik" , as well as an activation of awareness of reckless driving, which continues to claim more lives and property damage.
In support of this campaign, several national companies, including the Saudi Arabian Petroleum Supply Company (APSCO), offers considerable support.
For more than 15 years, APSCO still supports all programs associated with traffic campaigns including Safety Friend Program, National Campaign for Traffic Safety and Traffic Week. This sponsorship have played an important role in raising awareness of the importance of traffic and road safety.
On this occasion, Colonel Mezyad Al Hashim, Director of Public Relations at Traffic Directorate in Jeddah governorate, presented an honorary shield to the Arabian Petroleum Supply Company (APSCO) accepted on behalf of the company by Mr. Khaled Al-Tayeb, General Manager of Lubricants, in recognition of the General Directorate of Traffic management to the role of the national company in support of traffic awareness campaigns.
"We are not the only company that provides support to the traffic awareness campaigns, but for us in APSCO, our corporate social responsibility is part of our general marketing strategy. "For more than 15 years, we have provided many awareness programs in collaboration with h the Traffic Department, and APSCO has played an important role these programs, which aim to raise awareness of traffic and road safety. We do hope that such campaigns to continue, and we will continue our support for the safety and welfare of our society." Said Khaled Al-Tayeb after accepting the honorary shield.
