Every year in June, the world of motor sports looks to the world’s famous long distance race – the Le Mans 24 Hours. On the same weekend in June, Porsche again and also competed the equally renown 24 hour race at the Nurburgring. At the Nurburgring, the Porsche 911 GT3 run by the German Manthey Racing team and piloted by Porsche factory drivers Timo Bernhard, Lucas Luhr and Mike Rockenfeller together with former DTM pilot Marcel Tiemann, finished with an overall win and beat the old Nurburgring 24 hours distance record.
